Buzz Conversions won at BUSFEST in 2025, the first electric vehicle ever to win there, and won the EV category again in 2026. Both winners were our own VW ID. Buzz conversions, built at Buzz HQ in Kent with the same seats, panels and roof we fit for customers.

What went into the winning vans
Our winning ID. Buzz combined the Kombi-Seat rear seats on our own subframe, VW original windows, our own panel system that never puts carpet on bare metal, a quilted ceiling with LED lighting, and the Horizon elevating roof. The result feels like a purpose-built camper rather than a van with parts added.
Why it matters when you choose a converter
The ID. Buzz is new, and electric vans need care: the subframe, wiring for lighting and the roof all have to work with the vehicle, not against it. An award judged by the camper community is independent proof that the finish and design hold up. Everything on the winning vans is available to order, with prices in our package guides.
